    How to use the Discord

    Discord is a set of chat rooms called channels, grouped into sections down the left side. Your Alpha Tier role is what unlocks the members-only sections — before you claim it you'll only see the public ones. Here's where everything lives:

    How the alerts work

    • Alerts post in the Trade Ideas channels with the ticker, the contract and the entry, then live % updates with take-profit, trim or hold calls as the trade moves.
    • Treat them as guidance, not instructions. Everyone's account size and risk tolerance is different — you manage your own position size and your own exits.
    • Start small while you learn the rhythm of the room. Work through the beginner course before sizing up.

    Beginner tips

    • Turn on notifications for the alert channels: right-click the channel → Notification Settings → All Messages (on mobile: long-press the channel). That's how you never miss a play.
    • Mute what you don't need: right-click any channel or section → Mute.
    • Check the pins 📌 (top-right of every channel) — key links and guides live there.
    • On mobile: tap the server name for the channel list; swipe left to get back to the chat.
    • Start in #new-start-here — it walks you through the server in a couple of minutes.

    Need help?

    • Role didn't show up? Give it a minute, then hit the join button again. Still nothing? Open a ticket in #open-support-ticket or DM rigprints on Discord — we'll link you by hand.
    • Paid with a different email than your Discord? That's fine. Coming straight from checkout, the button already knows your purchase. Otherwise, after you sign in it asks for the email you paid with (it's on your Stripe receipt) and connects you on the spot.
    • Trading questions: #ask-a-question. Mentors and members answer daily.
    • Billing, cancel or update your card: Manage my subscription. Cancel anytime; your access runs to the end of the period you paid for.

    ⚠️ Stay safe: staff will never DM you first about payments, "claiming" anything, or your login. The only official links are on tradingalphas.com and pinned in #join-alpha-tier. Everything in the server is education, not financial advice.
